Being a software engineer would require various classes that I would need to take in college. Some classes that I would need to take are computer science, programming languages, system analysis, computing architecture, quality assurance, database management, calculus, physics, and mechanics. There are many colleges that would have the classes I would like to take to become a software engineer. For college, I would like to go to University of California Irvine (UCI). I wan to go to UCI because it is close to home, and it is a good school.
The career that I would like to have is a software engineer. My dad and my aunt are engineers at Beoing. Growing up, I was somewhat curious about the things that they were doing. When my cousin and I were little, we wanted to create a video game. My dad told me that if I ever created a video game, I might be able to make a lot of money. I like computer science and would like to continue it in my future.
On average, a software engineer makes about $100,000 per year. I think that this is more than sufficient. I want a job in the future that would provide for myself and my family while still having extra money to do more things. Being a software engineer might be a fun job that I would enjoy. In the future, I want a job that I would like to do and that would pay good.
